Overview:

The purpose of this study is to develop a plan to improve traffic operations and safety on US 1 in Greenwich and Stamford, Connecticut, to improve pedestrian friendliness, manage access, minimize congestion, accommodate transit, and enhance the corridor's economic potential and community character.

The completed plan will identify and analyze locations with operational deficiencies, project and evaluate future conditions, and recommend short and long-term strategies to improve the safety and operation of US 1 for all users.
